Thursday, 08 January 2009 OLFolders enables you to provide common access to all data
in Outlook across a network, without the need for a MS Exchange server. You can
create multiple users (up to 75) and set access privileges for each, on a per
folder level. You can limit a user to specified folder and read-only access,
while allowing another one full or restricted access to all or selected folders.
OLFolders runs as a server/client application, where the server is installed on
the machine that runs the shared Outlook, and others connect to it via a client
application that integrates into Outlook. Data stored on the server Outlook
appear as public folders on each client.
