 WinDVD gives you features such as universal player support for QuickTime, H.264, Real, WMV, MPEG-4, and DivX files, along with Pro Logic II, Dolby virtual speaker, Dolby Headphone, DTS, and video effects, while new fun features include QuickClip 2, Nvidia PureVideo and smooth reverse playback.
The program includes support for progressive de-interlacing and trimension
digital natural motion, an algorithm that creates a smooth and clear display of
interlaced video content. WinDVD Platinum also features support for gamma
correction, 96KHz/24-bit audio decoding, smart stretch, and language mate. It is
future-proof with support for high-definition formats such as WMV-HD and UPnP
for home networking. It also includes the mobile technology pack for longer
battery life on notebooks.
