PowerDVDPowerDVD supports a complete range of video and audio formats including high-definition files and discs, with support for key Blu-ray formats such as MPEG-4 AVC (H.264). PowerDVD also supports access to audio and video files over a UPnP digital home network, ensuring users are ready for the roll-out of UPnP media servers. PowerDVD 7 ends the debate over the quality of DTS vs. Dolby by providing support for the latest audio technologies from both.

PowerDVD 7 now offers five viewing modes: Dock--resizes the controls and adds them to the bottom of the viewing screen; Taskbar--allows access to controls via an icon on the taskbar; Mini--space-saving design for essential disc controls, Full screen--expands the viewing mode to fit the entire screen; Control panel--floating panel of complete controls is now translucent. 'Say It Again' ensures users never miss a crucial Hollywood moment with a smarter, automatic repeat function similar to the manually set AB Repeat.
